BELLIES FOR BREASTS Annual Fundraiser!

The Hippy Chix belly dance troupe, the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson, Aurora, and the Sunflower Girls proudly present the Third Annual "Bellies For Breasts" Fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk For The Cure (www.the3day.org).  This year, it's about celebrating ALL the ladies in our lives: we have kid-welcome workshops and crafts throughout the day!
Join us for Mother/Daughter/Sister/Auntie/Grandma/BFF workshops, shopping, crafts, raffle, snacks, a Belly Dance Fashion Show, and a belly dance performance, all to support the Sunflower Girls as they walk for a cure for breast cancer.

LOCATION: Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson, 80 Main Street (corner Rt. 62 [Main] and Church), Hudson, MA www.uchm.org

GENERAL ADMISSION: $7 adults ($5 NBDA or Shimmy Sisters), $3 kids 12 and under

This is a public-friendly, kids-welcome event to raise awareness and support for breast cancer research and prevention efforts, and to educate the public about belly dance as a positive physical, artistic, non-judgemental, community-building opportunity for women and girls.  

Want to do a little self-promotion while contributing to the event?  We're accepting donated items/services/gift certificates for our raffle; it's a great way to get your name out there!  Please contact Aurora with your ideas.

2:00 - WORKSHOP Main hall: "Mother/Daughter/Sister/Auntie/Grandma/BFF Belly Dance for Absolute Beginners" with Aurora
ALL SIZES, AGES, PHYSICAL ABILITIES ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE! If you find yourself challenged to stand for our workshop, please join us anyway: feel free to Sit Down and Dance!
WORKSHOP Classroom: "Undulation Nation" Advanced Tribal with VAAAALLLL!!!

3:00 - WORKSHOP Main hall: Gypsy Dance! Instructor TBA
Classroom:"Middle Eastern Persussion for Kids"

4:30 - "BELLY DANCE FASHION SHOW".  Produced and presented by: VAAAALLLL!!!!  and her entourage of fabulously gorgeous models.
