PART I: EXPLORING THE FEMININE DIVINE
Belly dance has been embraced by spiritual and feminist communities. It’s a vehicle for celebrating feminine power, and can be seen as a Goddess allegory. It’s also just a lot of fun! Explore the classic moves of this 2000-year-old dance.

PART II: INSPIRATIONS FROM NATURE
Borrowing the basics of belly dance, we’ll look to nature imagery as inspiration for creating movement. Connecting to our mother enables us to manifest the fertility and abundance that’s available to us all! (Attendance at our Part I class is recommended but not required.)
PEOPLE OF ALL SIZES AND LIFESTYLES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
These classes are open to women and men ages 16+; come dressed to move; no sneakers, please. Cost: FREE!!! Registration suggested. Shimmy with us in Safe Space!
